Shaye Smith

Shaye was born and raised in sweet home Alabama (Birmingham) and grew up vacationing in Miramar Beach, making the permanent move after graduating from Auburn University (War Eagle!). She now lives in Miramar Beach and has 1 son, Josiah (mostly known as "Si" or "Baby Si"). She works from home in marketing and digital communications, and also teaches dance at Rise Dance Center in Destin. She is a coffee addict and a social media nerd, and loves Jesus, music, fashion, food, fun events, fitness, sports and dance. She has 3 dogs (aka "fur-children") and you can typically find her working or playing with Baby Si, but you might catch her jogging with the stroller along the beach, picking up a 'pup-a-ccino' from Starbucks, attending local events and festivals, browsing the aisles at the grocery store, sitting by the pool (sometimes the beach - but it’s such a hassle with a baby)... or eating a frozen pizza on the couch. She wishes she had more time to Latin dance (Hello Salsa and Bachata!) and play beach volleyball. New England Patriots, Auburn Tigers and Boston Red Sox are her teams and she can talk football with the best of them. If she could trade careers with anyone, it would be Erin Andrews, Megyn Kelly or Carrie Underwood (if that tells you anything about her priorities, haha).
