Eglin Gate to Gate Memorial Run/Walk
Celebrate one of Northwest Florida’s greatest traditions at Eglin’s 36th Gate To Gate Memorial Run/Walk. This 4.4-mile competitive race will start and finish near Unity Park on Eglin Air Force Base, and is open to members of the general public of all ages.

Following the race, all participants and spectators are welcome to enjoy the after-party at Unity Park, featuring FREE refreshments, entertainment, and an awards presentation for top finishers in a variety of age categories.

Baytowne Memorial Day Weekend Celebration
The Village of Baytowne Wharf is gearing up for Memorial Day Weekend festivities with two nights of family friendly events! Admission is free and open to the public.
Forrest Williams Band will take the stage from 7 PM until 9 PM. Guests are invited to dance the night away as they listen to South Walton’s own Forrest Williams Band, an award-winning favorite on stage among locals and visitors to the area. Forrest and Pherrel Williams perform a variety of music from southern rock to country and blues.

Baytowne Memorial Day Weekend Celebration
Baytowne Wharf will host free children activities, including face painting, balloon animals, and lawn games from 6-9 PM. Live Music with Trest Richerson Band. After the show, Baytowne Wharf will light up the sky above the lagoon with a patriotic fireworks show at 9:00 PM.

SEASIDE Memorial Day Weekend Concert: Isle of Eight

Isle of Eight is a four-piece rock band from Lexington, Kentucky. They are known for their dynamic live performances, which showcase their high-energy music and passionate stage presence.

Memorial Day Service at Gulf Cemetery
Gulf Cemetery will host the annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 29 at 10:00 a.m. in Santa Rosa Beach. The approximately 150 veterans interred in the cemetery will be honored in a service that will include a keynote speech by Captain Martha J. LaGuardia. Folks are encouraged to bring umbrellas and/or personal lawn chairs. A limited number of folding chairs will be provided.
