I like to think I have a good skin care routine, like Demi Moore, and have taken well of my skin. But truthfully, only age will only confirm or deny that. Still, I have four makeup products that I use regularly. And with five kiddos underfoot I can truly say these four are the favorite make-up for the busy mom!
I first discovered Jessica Alba’s Makeup when I had the Honest Diaper subscription for babies number two, three, and four. It was a fun treat to “add” makeup and skincare products to the diaper box and receive a little something for this busy mama. I mean, brilliant marketing, Alba, brilliant…even my husband LOVES the Elevated Hydration Mist. So, I’m not the only one who loved her marketing! While, I am nearly finished with diapers, I haven’t stopped using Honest makeup. With a tried and true track record going on nearly a decade, I am pretty confident I can say this is the favorite makeup for the busy mom!
Here’s the 411 of my busy mom makeup routine…
- After my morning skin care I touch up blemishes with my to go to tinted moisturizer: CCC Clean Corrective with Vitamin C
2. Then, I apply Honest Dusk Reflection Pressed Powder like a bronzer to my forehead, cheekbones, and nose.
3. I cover any final blemishes and blend my “bronzer” with Honest Midnight Reflection Pressed Powder.
4. I wrap it up with Honest Mascara and Honest Tinted Lip Balm in, Fruit Punch. Easy peasy lemon squeeze.
Not to mention, the products are CLEAN. Honest makeup is “made from a safe formula and naturally-derived ingredients, free from irritating phthalates and sulfates.” Which is probably why my skin agrees with using them on a regular basis. Phthalates and sulfates irritate my skin tremendously. Ingredients are key, ladies. And ease of use when considering favorite makeup for busy moms.
