I’m not going to lie, I have never really considered myself a bargain shopper. But with several kids, it’s taught me to have a plan and pinch some pennies. Alas, I bring to you: Fun Things To Do This Summer For $5 Or Under!
- Kid’s Summer Movie Series ($5) – Each week at 10am, the Pier Park Movie Theater is playing a movie for kids! That’s a movie, a small popcorn, and a small drink for 5 bucks. Say whaaaat?
- Summer Reading Program Events (FREE) – Head down to the Coastal Branch Library in South Walton for some fun! Each week is a different theme. Check out the dates + times here. Info should be released soon!
- Aly’s Beach splash pad – Okay, what kid doesn’t love splash pads!? You can hit up the splash pad and even grab a snack at Raw + Juicy!
- E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center ($5 for kids 4-12, FREE for kids under 3) – Enjoy trails, animal shows and feedings, and an interactive museum. Perfect indoor (and learning) activities for a rainy day! Located in Freeport and open to the public in June & July from 9am-2pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
- Stories by the Sea (FREE) – Events in Seaside! They have music, movies, theater performances, and more. The calendar of events gets published each month here.
