Our Favorites From the Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT!

The new festival officially kicked off at EPCOT this week and runs through July 4, 2022! We were there for opening day and had a blast, ate a ton (obviously the best part!), and snapped a bunch of pictures to share with you. Our oldest daughter has a severe dairy allergy, so I will point out some of our favorite allergy friendly options too. I hope that helps if you have any food allergies in your family! Here are some of our favorites from the Flower and Garden Festival!

1: Grilled Corn on the Cob : This corn on the cob is covered with the most delicious garlicky spread. Super garlicky. Super delicious. Bonus: it’s plant based (dairy free) and also gluten friendly. This is at Flavor Full Kitchen.

2: Toasted Pretzel Bread : Pretzel bread topped with ham + melted gruyere cheese. Our son loved this! This is at Bauernmarkt in Germany.

3: Beignet Caramélisé : This beignet is filled with vanilla cream and glazed with salted caramel. Need I say more? Y-U-M. This is at Fleur de Lys in France.

4: Arepas: There are a few different options for the arepas! We tried the queso fresco and the chorizo. Both were delicious but I, personally, liked the chorizo a bit more. My kids loved the queso topped arepa (no surprise there). Both of those options are gluten friendly. This is at La Isla Fresca.

5: Coconut Tres Lesches : This dessert was my favorite dessert of the festival! It is plant based (dairy free) and unbelievably delicious. I have never had a plant based tres leches before so we were excited to try it. And it is NOT disappoint. Definitely don’t skip this! This is also at La Isla Fresca.

6: Boneless Impossible Korean Short Rib Bowl : This entire booth is plant based (dairy free)! This was my favorite dish from last year’s festival and I was so excited to see that it was back again. Rice, slaw, kimchee mayo. It is honestly the best mini meal! This is at Trowel + Trellis.

7: Chocolate Cake : Our daughter gobbled this up so fast I almost didn’t get a picture and didn’t even get a bite to try! Lol proof it was amazing! Chocolate cake, cassis mousse, raspberry gelatto. This is at Trowel + Trellis, too.

We didn’t get a chance to grab something from Mexico (the Jardin de Fiestas booth) but it’s usually one of our favorite booths so I am confident it’s amazing. The Honey Bee-stro booth had some amazing stuff last year. Also the fried cinnamon roll bites from Sunshine Griddle were delicious last year, too!

If you head to EPCOT this Spring or early Summer, I hope this helps you narrow down your list to try at the festival! And tag me on Instagram! I’d love to hear what you think!
