First of all…can you even believe that New Year’s Eve is so close?! The beginning of the year went so slowly for me and then Fall came and it feels like we sprinted to the end of 2021! Here are some of the New Year’s Eve events around Destin/30a. There are some really fun family events that you can plug into!
Noon Year’s Eve Ball Drop at Lulu’s Destin : There will be live music by Captain Davy, crafts, face painting, and more on the sandy beach. So the kiddies can have their fun, countdown to Noon with kid-safe “fireworks” and a huge Beach Ball Drop.
Horse Drawn Carriage Rides at Grand Boulevard : 5-8pm on Friday
Baytowne Countdown : A family friendly event from 6-8pm with fireworks at 8pm. Then live music until 1am and another fireworks show. After 10pm you must be 21+ or be accompanied by a guardian.
Hotel Effie : Grab tickets for a VIP experience! Bottle service, a fireworks show, and more.
Harborwalk Village : 7pm – midnight. Music, an early 8pm fireworks show, and then a countdown with fireworks at midnight.
The Hub : Football on the big screen + 6pm ball drop + countdown (time may shift depending on the game).
Countdown Seaside : 4-9pm. Face painting, music, crafts, and a fireworks show at 9pm.
New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop at Pier Park : 5:30pm – midnight. Live entertainment, fireworks, a 10,000 kid friendly beach ball drop, and the main countdown!
