On the west side of 30a is Blue Mountain Beach. It is gaining in popularity because it is generally more quiet while still having fantastic beaches, fun restaurants, and lots to do! Here are 5 things to do in Blue Mountain Beach:
1: Walk around the artist shops at Gulf Place. Tucked right behind Gulf Place there are little outdoor galleries filled with incredible art from local artists. It is so fun to grab a coffee and walk around in there!
2: Get ice cream or sorbet at Blue Mountain Beach Creamery! This place is a Blue Mountain Beach staple. The line can get long, but it’s worth it!
3: Hit the beach! There are some really nice beach accesses that have easy entries for strollers/wagons because they are flat. The beach access across the street from Gulf Place is one of them!
4: Get treats at Blue Mountain Bakery. Grab a giant cinnamon roll or a scone. They have fantastic gluten free/dairy free options too! The puddles are my favorite.
5: Seafood fan? Check out Shunk Gulley for lunch or dinner. You wont be disappointed! There is a gulf view + live music, making it the perfect place for a fun bite to eat.
