Our Favorites From the Food and Wine Festival!

The new festival kicked off at EPCOT this summer and runs through November 19, 2022! We were there for a quick trip, ate a ton (obviously the best part!), and snapped some pictures to share with you. Here are some of our favorites from the Food and Wine Festival!

Our oldest daughter has a severe dairy allergy, and one thing that I really appreciate is how great Disney is about food allergies. On the festival menus there is a little green leaf for everything that is plant based. The leaf icon is an easy guide to know our daughter can have the menu item! If you have another allergy, they can get you an ingredients list or even have a chef speak with you if it’s at a sit down restaurant. I hope that helps if you have any food allergies in your family!

EPCOT is our family’s favorite park. Especially during festivals.

We love going to EPCOT during a festival because the food is so good. There are booths that are always open at EPCOT and then during a festival there are significantly more booths open. The map below shows you all of the festival booths in red.

Ok, now that we have chatted details… let’s chat about the food!

1: Impossible Slider with wasabi cream and spicy slaw on a sesame seed bun. This has been there the last couple of years and it is just as delicious this year! It is also plant based which means it is great for anyone with a dairy allergy.

2. Griddled cheese. This made its debut last year and when I first heard about it I wasn’t sure what to expect. But you want to know what? It. Is. Delicious. Warm cheese, honey, and pistachios. Yum!

3. Fry Flight. This is a new menu item and it did not disappoint! People were raving about it on social media so I knew we had to try it. The sea salt and malt vinegar fries are plant based (see the little green leaf on the insert?). That flavor was my favorite! The bacon one was smoky and the sweet potato one honestly tasted like dessert. Yum!

4. Passion Fruit Cheesecake with macadamia nuts. I forgot to grab a picture of this on our recent trip but this is from last year and making its return! Really smooth cheesecake and the passionfruit is delicious.

There are always fun drinks on the menus, as well! Each festival booth has drink options and they are really fun to try out.

We still want to try some things on our next trip! We have our eye on the Belgian waffle with berry compote, the crispy brussels sprouts with buffalo sauce (this is plant based), and the mac n cheese booth.

If you head to EPCOT this Fall during the Food and Wine Festival, I hope this helps you narrow down your list to try at the festival! And tag me on Instagram! I’d love to hear what you think!
