I don’t know about you but November sure did fly by in a hurry! I definitely didn’t get everything done that I’d anticipated or any of the books I’d meant to read read. This month I’m starting fresh and am so excited to share my December Book of The Month box with you.
Between you and me, i’m not generally a Christmas spirit kinda girl. I mean, we do the things and put up the decorations but it’s not what gets me going. However, I am a complete sucker for a seasonal romance novel and Hallmark or Netflix cheesy Christmas movies. I love love and I love love with Christmas cookies even more. The book Kiss Her Once For Me by Alison Cochrun definitely ticked all the boxes on my seasonal romance novel checklist. I’m excited to read this one and share with all my friends that also love to read.
Every year in December, BOTM gives you your choice of the Book Of The Year nominees for free. This year, unlike years past, I chose the Book of The Year as my free book. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin is the 2022 Book of The Year. Critics can sometimes kill the vibe or nail it, and while this book is critically acclaimed, I’ve also heard that regular people love it as well. I’m excited to read it to see if it lives up to the hype that’s been built up.
If nothing else this December I hope to get these two books read. BOTM gives me an opportunity to choose books that aren’t generally my genre and expands my horizon. I’ll also definitely be reading some books in Kindle Unlimited and the new Jennifer L. Armentrout book is out! Reading is one of my favorite things to do, what’s the last thing you’ve read.
