What is your favorite Summer cocktail?
Looking for some fun summer cocktails to make for your Destin vacation or staycation? Look no further! There are so many fun ones to choose from, so below is a list of our favorites!
Moscow Mule
The Moscow Mule is a classic cocktail that’s come back in a big way! We think due in part to the trendy copper mugs that it is served in.
- 1.50z Vodka
- 1/2 cup Ginger Beer
- 1/5oz Lime Juice
- Ice Cubes
Summer Shandy
The Summer Shandy is one of the easiest cocktails to make.
- 1/2 part Hefeweizen
- 1/2 part Lemonade
Lemonade Mimosa
A Summer shake-up on the traditional mimosa
- 2tsp Lemon Zest
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Lemon sliced thinly
- 1 Bottle Champagne
- 2 Cups Pink or regular Lemonade
Use the lemon zest and sugar to dust the rims of your champagne flutes. Then fill have of the champagne flute with lemonade and the other half with lemonade. Add the sliced lemon as decoration and enjoy!
Pink Senoritas
- Lemon wedge, for rimming glasses
- Coarse salt, for rimming glasses
- 2 Cups Ice
- 2 Cups Pink Lemonade
- 1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 Cup Triple Sec
- 1 Cup Tequila
- 4 Lemon Slices, for garnish
Use the lemon wedge and coarse salt on the rims of your glasses. Then combine the rest of the ingredients and shake well. Garnish with a lemon for the prettiest Pink Senorita cocktail this Summer!
Pepper Thai Cocktail
Because Chrissy Tiegen is all our #goals, she, of course, has an amazing Summer Cocktail!
Strawberry Pepper Syrup
- 12 strawberries, plus more for garnish
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 6 oz. water
- 1tsp. Freshly ground black pepper
Cocktail
- 3 Thai basil leaves, plus a sprig for garnish
- 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 oz. Vodka
- 1 oz. soda
Combine the Strawberry Pepper Syrup ingredients until they are well blended. Muddle the basil leaves and then add the lemon juice, vodka, and soda. Shake vigorously and then make sure to strain. Use the strawberries and the basil for a little extra garnish. {Adapted from delish}
