2018 Destin 30a Mom of the Year
Whether she is a stay-at-home mom, work at home mom, or working mom, her “job” involves so much more than the title implies. Family nurse, keeper of the calendar, bookeeper, meal planner, chef, boss lady, travel agent, chauffeur, referee, teacher, photographer…the list goes on and on and on. The days roll by and she balances #allthethings without a second thought because as hard as it is, and as exhausted as she is some days, it’s all part of this mom gig we love so much. Why not recognize the moms who are inspiring us every day?
Who Will Be the 2018 Destin 30a Mom of the Year ?
We are now accepting submissions for the “2018 Destin 30a Mom of the Year”. We are looking for a mom who stands out and inspires. The 2018 Destin 30a Mom of the Year will be a local mom who meets one or more of the following criteria:
- makes an impact in the lives of her own or others’ children.
- uses her gifts, talents, circumstances, or influence to benefit or uplift others.
- sets a positive example and offers encouragement for other moms around her.
- plays a vital role in the Destin and/or South Walton communities.
- does an outstanding job in her role as a mom, as well as her place of employment (if applicable)
It might be your own mom, a neighbor, your best friend, your child’s teacher, or a coworker. We want to hear about all the local moms doing great things!
How to Nominate Someone for 2018 Destin 30a Mom of the Year
- complete form below to nominate YOUR mom of the year (or yourself!)
- please limit submissions to 500 words or less
- after submitting the form, please be sure to email us an accompanying photo to [email protected] with subject line 2018 Mom of the Year
- Submissions will be accepted through April 30th, 2018 at 3 pm.
- The Destin 30a Moms Blog team will determine finalists, who will be featured on Destin 30a Moms Blog on Thursday May 3 2018.
- A team of objective judges will select the Destin 30a Mom of the Year from those finalists.
- The 2018 Destin 30a Mom of the Year will be announced on Sunday, May 6, 2018.
The winner will be crowned the 2018 Destin 30a Mom of the Year! She will receive her own featured post on our blog, and will also win a fabulous prize package valued at over $700 including:
