We love dining out as a family, and along with our beautiful beaches and great local attractions, there are some amazing restaurants here! But, if your kids are anything like mine, you may spend $$$ on a kid’s meal they decide not to eat.
We have tried all the tricks but my kids, like many, are just picky. We have resorted to buying one meal they can share, or tracking down the restaurants where kids eat free or close to free. That way if they decide they’re not hungry, or that the tiny piece of lettuce that touched their chicken made the entire meal inedible, we are not wasting food or money. I always suggest they touch it and smell it; if they still do not want it… fine don’t eat it. (insert sigh and eye roll)
I searched far and wide for the best places to bring my kids for a stress free dinner – mkay, actually just in Destin but it’s sort of wide.
Here’s the list of 9 places I’ve found where Kids Eat Free in Destin:
IHOP – Everyday – 4pm-10pm – With purchase of an adult entree
AJ’s Seafood and Oyster – Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday – Seasonally Offered
Chick-fil-a – Tuesday – 6pm-9pm – One free kids meal with purchase of an adult combo meal
Cheeseburger in Paradise – Tuesday – With purchase of an adult entree
Millers Ale House – Tuesday – With purchase of an adult entree
Applebees – Wednesday – Kids eat for $0.99 all day
Moe’s Southwest Grill – Wednesday – 5pm-Close– Kids eat free with purchase of an adult entree
Zoe’s Kitchen – Sunday – 11am-7pm- One free kids meal with purchase of an adult entree
The Melting Pot – 2nd Sunday of each month– With purchase of an adult entree

The list may not be long compared to the list of restaurants in the community, but this opens up some options! We love going out eat so I ❤️ finding spots that show customer appreciation for families with small kids. Props to these restaurants who get it!
