30A Songwriters Fest 2020 was a nonstop, music filled weekend. It was my 3rd year attending the festival and by far my favorite for a few reasons, one of them being Abe Partridge and his wife Cathy.
My husband and I run around the country going to concerts and making friends, you could say it is our hobby. Last year before 30A Songwriters Fest a few friends told us to check out Abe Partridge, a newbie at the 2019 festival.
You know that cheesy expression “behind every great man there is a great woman?” I am not one to say things like that but, if I were this would be the most appropriate time to. Abe is an amazing song writer and artist from Mobile, Alabama and his wife Cathy is no doubt a huge part of his growing success.
She works in the home taking care of their three children and runs the behind the scenes day to day for her husband’s music and art career. Seeing their admiration for one anther and their ability to work as a team and stay humble in the tough music industry is a sight to behold.
She runs his social media, makes custom frames for his art, does custom embroidery for his shirts, and so much more. She is also an amazing artist herself!
This year at 30A Songwriters Fest Abe preformed more than any other artist, taking a stage somewhere along 30A at least once a day. We were lucky enough to catch 3 of his performances along with hundreds of others in the crowd.
To see his popularity grow so much from last year is so awesome. He and Cathy are real inspiration and I am so proud of them for making their dreams a reality.
