Y’all. The dog days of summer are officially here. Where on Earth did time go?! If you’re anything like me and feel like you haven’t adequately taken advantage of everything 30A has to offer in the summer months, look no further for summer family fun on 30A. I have compiled a list of things for you and your tots to enjoy before heading back to the thrill of academia come fall. Kidding. Even better, most things on the list are free. Can I get an AMEN?!
ROSEMARY BEACH:
-Live Theatre with The REP Theatre Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm
-Farmer’s Market on Sundays from 9 am-1 pm.
-Summer Concert Series Mondays from 6:30-8:30 pm
-Face Painting and Moonlight Movie 8:00 pm on Thursdays
ALYS BEACH:
Live Theatre with The REP Theatre on Tuesdays @ 6:30pm
-Summer Concerts in the amphitheater Wednesdays from 7-9 pm
-Live Theatre with The REP Theatre on Mondays @ 10:00am
THE BIG CHILL (formerly known as The Hub)
There’s almost always something fun going down at The Big Chill!
-Friday : Family DJ Dance Party from 6-9:00pm
-Wed: Movie Night, 7pm
-Thursday: Farmers Market from 9am-1pm
-LOTS of live music, almost every night of the week, and of course, those chairs!
SEASIDE:
-Monday: Children’s Theatre Performance
-Thursday: Huck & Lily Concert
-Friday: Central Square Cinema
-Saturday: Farmer’s Market
-Saturday: Sounds of Seaside
GULF PLACE:
-Wine Walk: Every third Thursday 5pm-7pm
Hopefully this summer family fun on 30A list motivates me to turn from my Netflix and nurse habit so my family can enjoy every ounce of fun this summer holds. Head to each community’s website for details regarding specific artists playing, movies, or time changes. So very thankful for our beautiful little corner of the panhandle and all it has to offer.
